Jan Slavik is the research project coordinator and the university teacher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of the Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. His long term interest is in environmental policy instruments and their application within the area of waste management. He also deal with the public service provision effectiveness and the inter-municipal cooperation. He has been cooperating with IEEP since 2001. Lenka Dubová works as a researcher and university lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies at the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. She is currently finishing her doctoral studies on the topic of improving the quality of life of urban inhabitants through green and blue infrastructure elements.
