REGIONAL POLICY
Regional policy is concerned with the spatial relations of a national economy as well as with particular state policies. It includes questions regarding regional development and also development in rural areas.
The IEEP is concerned with the theoretic questions of regional policy as well as the practical ones. In the framework of research projects the IEEP has focused on the aspects of multifunctional usage of particular elements in a territory and on their influence on stimulating endogenous development at the local and regional level. Furthermore an evaluation of particular sections of the EU cohesion policy and the EU Common Agriculture Policy implemented in the Czech Republic is elaborated.
