Project Objective:
Main objectives:
- an economic analysis of factors responsible for the recession in the Czech Republic in the late 90´s including an analysis of monetary policy,
- a critical analysis of the current economic policy including the monetary policy for sustaining growth in GDP and the rate of employment,
- a critical analysis of models for various institutions and the central bank, which simulates the influence of monetary policy on GDP – a proposal of an appropriate model for the Czech Republic case,
- proposing priorities in future economic policy and enactments, particularly the enactment of the Czech National Bank Act.
